If you’re planning on going to the cinema this weekend, you’re pretty spoiled for choice. Danny Boyle’s latest thriller ‘Trance’ is likely to be a popular one this weekend, and Northern Irish feel good flick ‘Good Vibrations’ looks like a good shout too. I however, shall be spending a full 456 minutes of my precious Sunday in the comfort of Edinburgh’s Cameo Cinema watching one of the most successful film trilogies of, dare I say it, all time.
At a whopping 7 hours and 36 minutes, this isn’t one for the light hearted, easily distracted or restless among us. It is however, a chance to see three brilliant films on the big screen, where they belong.
Ok, admittedly the last one was a bit of a let down and I can’t really remember the first all that well, but ‘The Dark Knight’ is one of my favourite films and I’d go purely to see that on the big screen again.
This is the second time the Cameo have shown the trilogy back to back since they screened the first two before the release of The Dark Knight Rises back in July. Some of my friends went dressed at Batman, Catwoman and co. You could really make a day of it. Although, it might be a good idea to lay off the latex if you’re planning on going as Catwoman; it might get uncomfortable after the fifth hour.
